Who’s Who?

 

Okipe is led by a committee of volunteers. The following people presently serve on this committee:

 

Bill Cody, Chairperson

Director of SHINE ~ a non-profit, humanitarian aid organization based in the Bay area of California.

 

 

Joy Irvine

Global Partners ~ Mission auxiliary of the Wesleyan Church. Joy and her husband Dan are currently assigned to Haiti.



Beth Petersen

Beth is a church staff member at FWC/ALIVE www.fwcalive.com.  Beth and her husband are adoptive parents living in South Carolina.   She cherishes the opportunity to speak on behalf of orphans, especially those living in Haiti.


 

Tricia Alexander

Tricia served as the office manager & host of Dental and Work teams, for West Indies Self Help, for the past 3 years on the island of LaGonave, Haiti. She is returning to the states in April of 2011 and will reside in Sandy Lake PA.

 

 

Aaron Dowds

Associate Pastor of the Vine Church, Dunfermline, Scotland and part-time pharmacist.  Aaron was the pharmacist for Lemon Aid (www.lemonaid.org.uk) on their medical trips to Haiti in 2009, 2010 and 2011. 

 


Brooke Stegkamper & Mackenzie Sherbondy

Brooke and Mackenzie are Penn State students from Greenville, PA.  They represent churches and families throughout western PA and traveled to the orphanage in June of 2008.   

 

 

 

Lucille (Lou) Davidson

Lou is a trustee of HaitiHelp, a Scottish charity set up to provide humanitarian aid to the people of Lagonave.
